We, Nanpi Jiantong Hardware Manufacturing Co.,Ltd. was recently completed the upgrading from ISO 9001:2008 to 9001:2015. It required a significant amount of work but provided our quality people with a chance to review all of our procedures and develop time saving techniques.

The 2 Big changes we noticed were the great emphasis on using the PDCA cycle (Plan, Do, Check, Act) for continuous improvement; and a focus on risk assessment in all phases (both input and output). So what value do we get out of our certification? Will it help us make good parts timely? Actually, it just keeps a good tracking when you make bad parts-

In our upgrade to the 2015 system we came up with a number of continuous improvement ideas and implemented some new procedures that will limit errors and reduce costs. We would conclude that it does present a tangible return above the business that we receive from customers who require it.
